Betty Parker Jervis Concert

The Betty Parker Jervis Concert is the final group concert of the year for the Society for Talent Education.  The concert will take place in the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park beginning at 2:30 PM.  There will be a pot-luck reception following the concert.

Performing students please arrive by 2:00 for tuning and set-up.  Please remember to allow time to park and walk across the park to the amphitheatre so you can arrive by 2:00.

The concert is named for Betty Parker Jervis. Betty was a long serving member of the board of the Society for Talent Education, and was at the helm of STE as the organization grew from a small local string program to the a large program recognized nationally and internationally. Under her leadership STE hosted an International Suzuki Conference and hosted Dr. and Mrs. Suzuki as well as teachers and students from around the world.
