Congratulations to STE students who participated in Edmonton Music and Speech Arts Festival (former Kiwanis)! STE Orchestra received an Award with Distinction from the adjudicator Paul Marleyn.

STE Orchestra performed Two Minuets by Beethoven and Breakbeat by Doug Spata. The adjudicator praised their minuet style, precise articulations and fine sense of pulse, and good ensemble.

Another ensemble was Sam Gerwing (cello) and Nikolai Sterev (piano) coached by Mark Eeles through STE Chamber Music Program. They successfully performed Beethoven Cello Sonata Op. 5 #2 and received encouragement and praise from the adjudicator.
